How to Guide Customers Place Orders

Sometime customers keep asking us problems about products but they don’t show any intention to place orders. We can't figure out how to express our thoughts to them.


If you encounter such problems, you might have a look at methods below as well.


1.Ask for their opinions
Sometimes we are not sure whether customers want to place orders or not. That is to say, we can't be sure because we haven't got the customers' signal to purchase. In this case, we can guide them to place orders by asking them for their intention. For example, you can ask problems as follows to do that:

"Do you think this solution will work out your problem of delivery?"

"Will it be good for your side?"

"If we can solve this color material problem, do you think this will solve your problems?"


In general, in this way can you know their thoughts and ask them to place orders mildly. Of course, if you can get a Yes, then you pick up a deal.

 
2.Have customers make simple decisions
To make simple decisions means you ask some questions which seem to be inessential and it leads your customers to make a small decision instead of an essential one. For example, you can't have them answer questions like "Are you ready to place an order?" They should be:

"When do you think is the best time for delivery?"

"Which color do you prefer for the first batch of goods?"

"Where to assemble it?"


3.Provide some options
You can use questions below to provide customers with some options. Whatever they choose, it means they are ready to purchase your products.

"When is the best time to deliver your goods, Thursday or Friday?"

"What is your payment terms, T/T or L/C?"

"What is your order quantity, 20,000 pcs or 50,000 pcs?"

"Which color do you prefer, red or yellow?"


4.Summarize to conclude
It requires you to summarize services customers about to get and ask a small question or get customers options to let them choose to finish the talk.


"Now, we both agreed with the packaging, so how many cartons to send, 20 or 50?"


5.Directly say it
Directly leading customers to buy means you use a simple declarative sentence or question to talk about orders. For example:

"Let me just make a PI for this order."

"Let me write down the specifications of your goods now."


6.Urge customers to place orders
We can remind customers to place orders promptly for the reasons of low stock of goods.


"Since the demand of this product is very large, if you don't place the order in hurry, we can't assure the production time in the future."
